ChefCecil Reaches 1,000 Recipes: The Family Recipe Preservation Platform Grows

Windsor Supply today announced that ChefCecil, its AI-powered recipe digitization platform, has surpassed 1,000 preserved family recipes since launch.

ChefCecil allows users to photograph handwritten recipe cards, notebook pages, and even stained index cards, then uses AI to digitize them into clean, searchable, shareable digital recipes — preserving the original handwriting alongside the formatted version.

"Every family has a shoebox of recipe cards from grandma, and every year a few more get lost or damaged," said Jevon Priester, founder of Windsor Supply. "ChefCecil makes sure those recipes survive for the next generation."

The platform has seen particular adoption among families preserving recipes from elderly relatives, estate collections, and community cookbook projects.

Key features include:

  • AI-powered handwriting recognition for recipe cards
  • Original handwriting preservation alongside digital format
  • Recipe collections and sharing with family members
  • Ingredient scaling and unit conversion
  • Print-ready formatting

ChefCecil is available at chefcecil.com with a free tier for getting started.
